Creating new accounts

How do I set up a new user account
Download the App on the iOS store or Google Play Store, and you will be taken through account creation on your first access.
Where is the verification email for my new account
If you did not receive a verification e-mail, please check the e-mail you have entered for any errors. If you are still not receiving verification e-mails, please email support@li2ei.com
I’m a teacher and would like to sign up for my students/classroom. Is that option available?

If you are a teacher or representative of an educational institution that is signing up more than 6 users, please contact support@li2ei.com to discuss custom pricing options.

Managing Existing Accounts

How do I find my username?
Your username is the e-mail address you signed up with.
How do I change or recover the email address I use to log in?

If you have forgotten the e-mail address you have used to register with LI2EI, please contact support@li2ei.com with your registered phone number.


If you did not register your phone number, there is no way to modify or recover the e-mail address used to log in.

Can I transfer accounts from one email address to another or combine accounts?
You cannot transfer your account to other e-mail addresses, Apple IDs, Google Accounts, or combine accounts.
I’ve forgotten my password. How do I reset it?

Please visit https://app.li2ei.com/users/sign_in and click on the “Forgot My Password” button.

How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, please e-mail support@li2ei.com
How do I set a language other than English as my default?
LI2EI currently supports only English.
How do I unsubscribe from LI2EI emails?
To unsubscribe from LI2EI e-mails, please log into your parent dashboard at https://app.li2ei.com/users/sign_in , click on “Account > Notifications”
How do I log in and out of LI2EI?
If you are on the website/parent dashboard, click “Log Out” on the top right.

If you are on your child’s device, please click on the “Menu” on the top right and select “Log Out.” When logging out of a child’s device, you will be prompted for an e-mail verification code.

How do I get started?

Please go to the iOS app store or Google Play Store and download by searching “Learn It 2 Earn It”. Once you’ve downloaded the app, a step by step prompt will guide you through the process. We also have an instructional video to guide you if you still have difficulty: https://youtu.be/tSLRv758Uy0

How many Child Profiles come with a subscription?
You can create as many child profiles as you like on your account, however, based on your subscription plan, the amount of active child profiles is anywhere from 1-6. The other child profiles will be unusable unless a license key is freed up from your currently active profiles.
How do I add another child to my account?

You can add a child into your account by logging into the parent dashboard at https://app.li2ei.com/users/sign_in


From there,  select the menu opens as such:

Account > Account Information > Add Child

How do I know what grade level is right for my child?

We recommend placing your child into their current grade level if they have been in that grade level for at least 3 months. If your child is just entering a grade, we recommend that you place them at their previous grade level to maximize their success.

How do I adjust my child’s grade?

You can adjust your child’s grade by logging into the parent dashboard at https://app.li2ei.com/users/sign_in

After logging in, please use the menu options as written below:

Account > Account Information > Edit Details on the child you would like to change their grade to.

What is the Time Bank and what can I do there?

The Time Bank is the amount of available time that your child is able to use their device without restrictions. In the Time Bank, you can withdraw time up to the available time balance.

What devices can I use with LI2EI?

LI2EI currently supports iOS devices on iOS 10.0 or higher and Android devices on Android 4.1 or higher.

We strongly recommend using a tablet to access Learn It 2 Earn It, but cellular phones are also supported.

How many devices can be logged in at the same time?

You can log into as many devices as your subscription allows. For example, if you have purchased a subscription for 3 children, you can log into 3 devices. If you purchased a subscription for 2 children, you can log into 2 devices.


How do I report an issue or error with a exercise or lesson?

Please send an e-mail to support@li2ei.com and include details on the exercise or lesson name and grade level

What is the Time Bank?

Parent Dashboard

What settings are in the parent dashboard?
In the parent dashboard, you can view your child’s progress, track their performance, and see their usage statistics. Additionally, you can edit your child’s information, add children, remove children, edit your account details, set up an unlocking schedule, and change your notification settings.
How do I view my child’s profile?

Please log into your parent dashboard at app.li2ei.com/users/sign in, go to accounts>account information and you should be able to select a child’s profile to view.

How often are progress reports given?
Progress reports are sent out at 8:00 A.M. in your time zone every Monday.
Can I select what progress reports I’d like to see?

Progress reports are sent for every child that your account has. At the moment, there is no way to customize which progress reports you will receive.

What are the various method of communication I can receive the reports?
You can receive a report by e-mail, text, or both.

What are the subscription plans and how much do they cost?

Why is there a fee to access the app?
To ensure the quality of our app and access to progress for each child, the fee goes towards content providers, artists, developers, and research to ensure we continually improve our platform.
Do you offer a free trial?

Yes, a new account will have access to a free trial when selecting a subscription from within the app.


To receive a free trial, you must have an Apple ID that has an active payment method. The trial will automatically renew at the end of its 30 day duration to a subscription. You can cancel this subscription at any time through Apple’s Subscription Manager.

What payment methods can I use to subscribe to LI2EI?

Currently, LI2EI only supports Apple’s App Store Payment system.

What is a CVV code?
CVV is one of the credit card industry’s several acronyms for the credit card security code that helps verify the legitimacy of a credit card. Depending on the card, the security code can be a three-digit or four-digit number, printed on either on the back of the card or the front. CVV stands for “card verification value” code. Other card issuers call their security codes CVV2 (Visa), CVC2 (MasterCard) or CID (American Express).
The credit card declined. What do I do?
If your card has been declined, please:
1) Check to make sure you have typed in your card information correctly
2) Check to make sure your card has not expired
3) Check to make sure your card has an adequate balance for the payment
4) Check to make sure your card has not been blocked for online transactions by contacting your credit card company
Does LI2EI store my payment information?

No, we do not store any payment information. All payment information is processed through Apple’s payment system. 

Is the payment portal secure?

How do I update my payment information?
To update your payment information, please go into the Apple App Store and update your information associated with your Apple account. For more detailed steps: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201266
How do I cancel my subscription?

You may cancel a subscription at any time by visiting the subscription settings through your Apple account. 


When cancelling a subscription, LI2EI is unable to refund any portion of the remaining subscription. Upon cancellation, your subscription will be active until the end of the billing cycle.

When will I see a refund?

How do I uninstall the MDM Profile?

I’m receiving an error when trying to install MDM profile. The error is "Profile Installation Failed"

Please check to see if you have any other profiles installed. Uninstalling another profile will allow you to install the LI2EI MDM Profile. If you need assistance in how to do this, please contact support@li2ei.com.

What is the history of LI2EI?
Victor and Marisela Lopez Smith, husband and wife to two boys of their own, offered the same program for their children and decided to build it into a platform to help bring equity in education for all children.
How is LI2EI effective and different from other resources?
Our software is designed to provide a reward mechanism that is inherent to a child’s interests. Most resources will provide customization features or cosmetics within their own app, but it is not a strong enough motivator. With LI2EI, your child gets the freedom of choice: they are rewarded with time to spend however they like whether that be on social media, or playing video games.

What ages should use LI2EI?
At the moment, LI2EI supports K-5 learning. We recommend children between the ages of 4 to 13.
What is MDM?
MDM stands for “Mobile Device Management”. This is a feature created by Apple that allows devices to have restrictions set upon them. LI2EI uses MDM to lock your child’s app access and also limit your child’s access to browsing the web.
